ADOPTION PROCESS

STEP 1

Review adoptable pets currently up for adoption.
If you’re looking for something specific, let us know!

STEP 2

Once you’ve found a dog that you’d like to adopt, fill out the adoption application, also located here. Adopter candidates are required to complete and submit an adoption application that will be reviewed by our staff members. We will try to respond to all applications in a timely manner. Please allow up to two weeks to hear back from us. We are a completely volunteer-based organization and we appreciate your patience.

STEP 3

HOME CHECK

After reviewing your application, we will schedule a home visit (virtual or physical). Don’t worry, you don’t have to clean for us! We just want to be sure your new pet will be placed in a home that is pet ready! Please note, if you are in a rented home, we may need to contact your landlord or verify that your lease allows the pet you are interested in adopting.

STEP 4

SETUP MEET & GREET

If your application is approved, we will call or message you to schedule a meet and greet with the current foster family, the potential adopters, and the pet(s). We request that all members (human and furry friends) of the adoptive family be present for the meet and greet!
