Mother Nature Care Animal Rescue is a California-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing animals of all breeds. We provide a warm, nurturing environment where all their needs are met. Our greatest joy is watching new owners give these animals a second chance in a forever home.
We save our dogs—and a few cats—from overcrowded shelters and rescue groups, where they might not have had another chance. Our adoptable pets stay with foster families, letting us continue their socialization and basic training while finding the best match for their future adopters. We believe that adoption, education, advocacy, and building strong community partnerships are key to addressing the pet overpopulation problem, both in the United States and globally. FOUNDER & CEO
Juan embodies a heartwarming transformation from a pet-free childhood to a passionate advocate for animal welfare. Growing up in the sun-soaked landscapes of Southern California without the companionship of pets, Juan’s journey to becoming a devoted animal lover is both inspiring and commendable. Today, he is not only fond of animals but also deeply committed to ensuring they receive the utmost care. Known for his affectionate nature, Juan loves to cuddle with the rescued pets, providing them with the comfort and love they deserve. Under his leadership, the pet rescue thrives, dedicated to meeting the unique needs of every animal and striving to create a sanctuary where they can flourish and find their forever homes.
AURORA
FOUNDER & OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
Aurora, the charismatic face of the pet rescue in Southern California, has been passionately devoted to saving animals since her early childhood in Texas. At the tender age of eight, she embarked on what would become a lifelong mission to rescue and care for animals in need. Despite her mother’s initial disapproval, she often relented, allowing Aurora to keep the strays she lovingly brought home. Though young and inexperienced, Aurora’s compassion for these animals was evident in the diligent care she provided them. This early passion for animal welfare only intensified as the years went by. Aurora pursued her love for animals professionally, honing her skills and expanding her knowledge as a Veterinary Technician. This invaluable experience now enhances her work at the rescue, where her deep understanding of animal care and unwavering commitment to their well-being make her an indispensable part of the team. Aurora ensures that every rescued pet receives the highest standard of care and the best possible chance for a happy and healthy life.

TRAINING COORDINATOR
Athalya, our remarkable daughter, serves as the enthusiastic Training Coordinator at the pet rescue, where her natural affinity for animals and vibrant energy shine brightly. From a very young age, Athalya displayed an exceptional talent for understanding and communicating with pets, making her an invaluable asset to our team. Athalya’s dedication and infectious enthusiasm inspire everyone at the rescue, proving that age is no barrier to making a significant impact. MURRIE
SECRETARY & OUTREACH COORDINATOR
Murrie, the dedicated Outreach Coordinator of the pet rescue, is an ardent animal enthusiast whose passion for animal welfare shines through in every aspect of her work. Her early exposure to the joys and challenges of pet care fueled her commitment to helping animals in need.
